Our centre is growing, and we are excited to add another passionate, committed, and qualified ECE teacher to our team! As our enrolments continue to increase, we are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism to support our expanding learning environment.
About the role
Monday – Friday 6 hours per day / 30 hours per week
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team who value high-quality practice, strong relationships with families, and a nurturing environment for children. As a Christian centre, we have a strong Christian philosophy and Biblical Curriculum that are woven into the life and learning of our centre. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Christian education and excited to actively contribute to this.
We are looking for a teacher who is engaged, reflective, and passionate about creating rich learning opportunities grounded in Te Whāriki.

About you
- Hold a NZ ECE teaching qualification and full/provisional certification in ECE (not primary)
- Are passionate about Christian education and supporting our Christian philosophy and Biblical Curriculum
- Demonstrate commitment to high-quality teaching and learning

Casual Early Childhood Education Reliever

We are a Christian childcare centre located in Queenstown, providing exceptional care and education to families in our community.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates to join our casual relievers pool. While an ECE qualification is an advantage, we are also interested in hearing from experienced, unqualified applicants who have references demonstrating their experience working with young children. This role may also suit a university or high school student (must be at least 17 years old) seeking school holiday work and who has experience working with children.
To support our friendly, professional team during staff absences, we are seeking capable individuals who:
- Have a kind and nurturing approach toward children
- Possess good communication and teamwork skills
- Are flexible and responsive to the needs of the centre

As not all staff absences are planned, a willingness to be available on short notice is highly desirable.
To be successful in your application, you will need to:
- Be available as an on-call reliever, Monday to Friday, any time between 8:00am – 5:30pm (depending on the shift you are covering)
- Have experience working with children and the flexibility to work across all age groups, from 3 months to 6 years
- Work well in a team environment
- Be proactive and show initiative in the classroom, supporting teachers in providing quality care and education
- Be available to start as soon as possible
